Information and Advice Service

Age Concern East Sussex offers a professional, confidential, free information and advice service. We have a Quality Mark at General Help level from the Community Legal Service at both our Lewes and Battle offices.

The service is for older people, their families, friends, carers and professionals working with older people. Whilst visitors to our information offices are always welcome, it is wise to telephone first to confirm that an advisor will be available.

Local and national information is held on a series of databases. We also have a comprehensive collection of Age Concern Factsheets and other publications covering a wide range of subjects, including:

• Benefits and Money
• Healthcare
• Information for carers
• Community care services
• Social activities
• Transport
• Accommodation
• Care homes

We also work closely with other agencies to offer accurate information and advice as quickly as possible, in strict confidence.
